The World Chamber of Commerce is hosting an international trade seminar and networking event on April 19th.
This would be a great event for IAC students to attend. A panel will discuss international trade opportunities and strategies to start and the event will end with a networking reception. An entry fee is required, however, students are allowed entry for the member price of $10, rather than the non-member price of $20.

The Summer Institute on Global Poverty & Inclusive Development
contributes to the growing worldwide interest among academics and
professionals in the causes of poverty and its alleviation. There is
an increasing urgency to understand the conditions of poverty, the
dynamics of poverty, and the complexities involved in embarking upon
more inclusive development trajectories.
Classes are taught by Dr. Deepa Narayan – an internationally known
expert on poverty and author of Voices of the Poor and Moving out of
Poverty in close cooperation with Dr. Nicky Pouw, co- author of Local
Governance and Poverty in Developing Nations (with Isa Baud).
This specialised programme is open to graduate and PhD students, and
relevant fields, and development practitioners and policymakers
engaged in research and policies on poverty and development. In some
cases students with a bachelors degree and relevant work experience
may be considered for admission to the programme. If you are looking
for an intensive program, want to up-date your knowledge, and be part
of a unique networking opportunity within an international context,
then this programme is for you! The application and further
